A note for patients of Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates

To our Patients and Families,

Thank you for continuing to trust Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates to care for you and your loved ones. Your health and the health of our community is our highest priority during these uncertain times. We are reaching out to let you know that the MKC team are here to support you and your family during these uncertain times and to provide uninterrupted heart care.

MKC Clinics remain open and available to provide preventive care and ongoing care to support our chronically ill patients. But to protect our patients and staff, we are now offering Virtual Care options to provide acute and episodic care to our established patients. We have screening protocols in place to protect the health of patients who enter the clinic for appointments.

We are working harder than ever during these challenging times to offer you a range of Virtual Care options for you to see a cardiologist, when you need it - from the convenience of your home. To help keep you, your family and our staff safe, many in-person visits can now be converted to these options below:

Virtual Visits (with your cardiologist/practitioner)

Virtual Visits

Patients are able to connect with their cardiologist/practioner via their smartphone/tablet, or computer to visibly interact via videoconference at their scheduled appointment time. This allows the physician to see the patient and ask questions. Available Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please call 281-392-3401 to change your in-office to or to schedule a Virtual Visit.

Telephone Visit (with your physician/practitioner)

Telephone Visit

If the patient is experiencing certain symptoms, patients are also able to schedule a telephone visit with their physician. The patient will receive a call at the scheduled appointment time. Available Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please call 281-392-3401 to schedule a Telephone Visit.

Older Adults and Those with Chronic Medical Conditions

At this time, older adults and people of all ages with underlying medical conditions like lung disease, heart disease or diabetes are at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness. These patients should call their Primary Care Physician as soon as symptoms start.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to call our office. We want to be sure you have the medical resources you need and answers to your questions during this unprecedented time.
